CANDLE CARE
Your candles deserve to be treated with love. Follow these simple tips and safety precautions that will ensure you get the best use out of your products.
BEFORE BURNING
- Trim the wick to 5mm:
Before lighting always trim the wick and remove any debris. This will help create an even burn. If the flame is too tall or flickering occurs, extinguish candle and trim wick once cooled.
WHILE BURNING
- Burn time: Never burn a candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. To avoid tunneling, ensure wax reaches the edges of the container.
- Keep lit candles away from drafts and flammable materials: This prevents uneven burning, candle collapse, smoke or fire.
- Keep candles away from children and pets.
- Burn only on a stable heat resistant surfaces.
- Never leave a lit candle unattended
- Never touch or move a burning candle
AFTER BURNING
- Putting candles out : Using a candle snuffer will help stop wicks from moving or potential wax splash. Candle snuffers also increase candle burn time.
- Candle jar may be hot. Wait until it has completely cooled before touching or moving.
- Do not burn candle when there is 1/4inch of wax remaining.
- Store candles in a cool, dry place away from sunlight
